Getting the apps into your hands

  • GWC Studio 1.0.4 is on the download page for Windows. The macOS and Linux archives are in final release checks — each one is listed the moment it is verified, so nothing appears before it can actually be downloaded.
  • The desktop builds are not code-signed or notarised yet. The download page and the Studio guide now say exactly what Windows, macOS and Linux will each do on first run, and what to do about it — after you have checked the SHA-256, which is published next to every file.
  • The GWC app for iPhone and iPad is on TestFlight at 1.0.7; build 61 is being prepared for TestFlight and App Store review. The App Store listing is not live yet.
  • The same build is going through closed testing on Google Play. It has not started rolling out, and there is no public Play listing yet.
  • Meanwhile the direct Android APK (1.0.7) stays on the download page — it is the way to install the app today, and it stays there after the store listings open.
  • Deleting your account now has its own page, linked from Support and the Privacy Policy: what happens, how long it takes, and how to stop it inside the 30-day window.

Free-tier agents, team passes, and local models

  • The Basic monthly allowance now funds DeepSeek V4 Flash. Every other model stays available on Basic — paid from your top-up balance, your own API key (BYOK), or by signing in with an AI plan you already have — so the funding source is clear before you send the request rather than at a decline.
  • Background Agents on Basic: 5 running in parallel, on the free tier.
  • GWC Business Connect Pass — $10 per seat per month. Buy passes for a team and assign one to each member, instead of one pass per individual account.
  • Local models: point GWC at Ollama or LM Studio running on your own machine and route chat through it. Included on Standard and above, or on any tier with a Connect Pass.
  • The site now speaks 12 languages. Pick yours from the selector in the footer — English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語, 한국어, العربية, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Português and Bahasa Indonesia. On a first visit we follow your browser's preference, and Arabic now renders right-to-left.
  • Fixed: holding a GWC Connect Pass on the Basic tier no longer showed an upgrade prompt on GWC Connect. The pass had always granted access — only the screen disagreed.

Safety, roles, and a cleaner core

  • Agent roles now run under least-privilege tool envelopes — reviewing roles structurally cannot modify what they review, and measuring roles cannot alter what they measure.
  • Unattended agent runs execute inside a sandbox instead of the bare host.
  • Studio's local master keys are now bound to the operating system keystore instead of stored as files.
  • Terminal sessions orphaned by a restart are now cleaned up automatically.
  • The Android app now requires Android 7.1.1 or newer — Android 7.0 devices could not establish a secure connection to GWC services.
  • Billing now shows the cloud-routing fee consistently on every surface, and how BYOK avoids it.
  • The observer mode is now a first-class second-terminal workflow: watch an autopilot session, then hand its summary back.

Open pricing and more models

  • All chat models are open to every tier — tiers differ by monthly allowance, not by which models you may use.
  • Corporate seats now start from a single seat.
  • GWC Connect Pass: remote control, BYOK, and login-with-your-own-AI-plan as a standalone add-on.
