The only thing that scales with price is your GWC Plan allowance and whether BYOK unlocks. Standard ($19/mo) adds BYOK — including free Login-OA with your existing Claude or OpenAI subscription — so you pay vendors directly and bypass our metering entirely.

How funding works

Basic — GWC Plan: allowance → top-up balance

  1. Allowance — $1/mo of included compute. Resets monthly.
  2. Top-up — optional prepaid USD balance, 1.15× vendor cost. $5 minimum.

Standard+ — two sources: BYOK and GWC Plan

  1. BYOK — your own vendor keys; you pay the vendor direct. Login-OA is the primary key: sign in with your existing Claude Code or OpenAI Codex subscription. Free.
  2. GWC Plan — your monthly allowance ($15–$45/mo by tier), with an optional prepaid top-up balance at 1.15× vendor cost.

Install

Install Taichu globally via npm. Works on macOS, Linux, and Windows (Git Bash / WSL).
