How do I get started?

You can choose a paid Personal subscription for $5/month in Billing. Cancel a paid subscription anytime. Where is the GWC Studio desktop app?

GWC Studio — Core desktop app. See Studio availability and GWC for VS Code availability.

How do I get the mobile app?

iOS is available to invited TestFlight testers, and Android is in Google Play closed testing. To request an invitation, email [email protected] with your Apple ID or Google account email. The Download page shows the current status.

My computer does not show up in GWC Connect on the phone

Check the Download page for a currently offered, supported GWC Studio or GWC for VS Code release. On the intended PC, keep that desktop app open and signed in to the same GWC account used by GWC Connect. Check the exact registered PC and its live connection state; a saved device can still be offline. Refresh Devices on the phone. If it remains missing, verify the account and connection before signing out, changing permissions or reinstalling.

What AI models does GWC use?

GWC routes tasks to the best model for each job — including Gemini, Claude, and others.

How do I cancel my subscription?

For a paid Personal subscription, open Billing to manage cancellation. Paid access continues until the end of the paid billing period. The no-card trial ends automatically; no cancellation is needed to avoid a subscription charge.

Is my data private?

Yes. GWC never uses your conversations or files to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Deletion is scheduled 30 days out, then the account is permanently removed. To stop it inside that window, open Settings and cancel the scheduled deletion, or email [email protected]. The full steps, and what happens to your data, are on Delete your account.

What is GWC Connect?

GWC Connect lets you follow and control work on a paired PC running a supported GWC Studio or GWC for VS Code release, when the mobile channel is available to you. It connects GWC Connect to a paired PC running a supported GWC Studio or GWC for VS Code release; check the Download page for which releases are currently offered. GWC for VS Code is on the Visual Studio Marketplace, and the verified extension release is listed on the Download page. The mobile apps are in store review and testing. It is part of GWC Personal — the Connect Pass.

What does the Connect Pass actually unlock?

The Connect Pass unlocks GWC Bridge for ChatGPT, remote control from GWC Connect, BYOK, Login-OA and local models on your PC. These features work with GWC for VS Code with Taichu and the supported GWC apps.

Where is my data processed?

Processing depends on the request route and the provider's terms and regions. BYOK uses your own provider account; it does not by itself guarantee data residency or bypass GWC. Cloud BYOK requests pass through GWC as described in the Privacy Policy. Only requests sent directly from your device to the provider bypass GWC's AI inference relay; GWC account and connection processing still applies. Check the actual route and provider agreement against your residency requirements.

Does the mobile app work offline?

No — it needs a connection to reach your agents, because the work runs on your own machine and the phone is a window onto it. If your computer is asleep there is nothing to attach to. BYOK uses your own provider keys. Cloud BYOK sends the key to GWC for the request, with in-memory handling described in the Privacy Policy. A request sent directly from your device to the provider bypasses GWC's AI inference relay.
